What is Sunday like?

Every Sunday, at 10 AM, we meet for worship at 228 Valley Road.

We are a casual church that hopes to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. (no, we don’t have recliners, but you are welcome to bring a lawn chair)

As you come in, you will see a coffee bar ready to make you a hot cup of fair trade coffee. If you come too early (15 minutes) be prepared to chat with our pastor because most people arrive fashionably “just on time.”

We start our worship services by singing together. After about five songs, the kids aged 2 to 11 are dismissed to Kids Church.

We are just a small church, so our band usually consists of an acoustic guitar or two, keyboards, a box drum, and maybe a bass.

Then, we have about 20-25 minutes of teaching. We follow that up with either a group discussion, a song, or something creative, or we grab a coffee and chat.

Once a month, we participate in communion together. You are welcome to join in or just sit back and take it all in. Sometimes, we do communion more than once a month; other times, we do something else.

We strive to host accessible, inclusive gatherings that enable individuals to engage fully. To request accommodation or for inquiries about accessibility, contact hello@valleyroadchurch.ca
